Yes, these supplies are wonderful and I found another site that I'm going to add. The reason I'm adding it is because the swings they offer go up to a weight-holding of about 300 lbs, so that being said, it is not just swings for people who are up to about 100-105 lbs but also adults with autism so that is why I like it. :) I knew you would comment on the movie page if you were to comment on any of the pages! It is interesting how the movies developed about Autism. And the thing I find interesting is how in Rainman the psych doesn't say, "He is High Functioning for being dx as Classic Autistic Savantism..." I think the people in the movies forgot to add some details- I've had parents email and say, "My child is dx as being high functining Autistic, but isn't like Rainman, so maybe he doesn't have Autism at all." What do you think? Oh you got to get House Of Cards from Hollywood Video or Blockbuster!!!!

That's awesome you've had such a good response... good is always good! Yes, you are right every place should have something like you guys are doing for all Emergency Responders, so right. I'm sorry about the fire, I hope you got it under control. I'm glad the folks there are more than happy to give their help despite that and move forward, that's awesome! High fives to all of you guys!!!!

That's awesome you will have a table set up. All those things will I'm sure help people and your Responders as well. You're welcome for the resources and for me staying strong for families and my family as well as it's been hard, and thank you for that too. Hi Kesner,

Yes, there is gluten and cassein which when being put into the body (especially when at home and through school) can be quite a shock to the gut. It does cause pain and it is not surprising for many Autistic people to have allergies to egg, wheat, etc. I have these allergies and so I'm on 1/2 g/f c/f and do a lot of Juicing with Ice Chips which can help. ALSO, they may be testing him with many different oral textures so his mouth is getting confused. They may be using an oral vibrator or not, so his swallowing and mouth may be tactially and sensory-feeling wise confused. Ask them about that as well. The assessment should show that as well when they watch him eat. Let us know how it turns out.

Hey! Sorry, I didn't know this had a reply again for some reason until now. Silent Fall is really rated R for a reason but really really good representing Autism... try hollywood video and call and ask your blockbusters to get it and put it on hold for you. They prob. just had it rented out. That's great you found the other movie What's Eating Gilbert Grape... Yeah, he was MR but I guess my psychology teacher and an informative on the movie was saying that the boy had a form of Autism but it just wasn't said... I don't know but yeah so it is really good and thought it was sweet and showed great characteristics some. The brother made me cry...so sweet. It's sweet that you help take care of your Aunt - way to go! :)

Hi Julie!!! I hope you saw my new email address. I do too... my update, not doing too well med changes are making things wierd and I'm having terrible tics including breathing tics which are aweful and scary, so I really need prayer.

Congrats and do send pictures!!!!!!! LOL, kinda funny my brother is now going to get married as well; He romantically wrote notes with flowers along the way on a scavenger hunt and lead her to the lake with a nice breakfast on a boat and then stopped under the bridge, etc. and you know the rest! For me, I'm terrified though how I'm going to be well in time for a wedding (MAJOR MIRACLE NEEDED HERE SOON)

Oh, yes and there even is chiropractors for Autism just for the posture believe it or not for the upper part of body but also the lower back... also if you didn't know scoliosis is VERY common in Autism, another spinal problem. It is interesting and you're very welcome! I'm so glad this is helping in any way it can :)
