Wow that was very interesting. That has to be tough not to screen anything out. I can see how hard it must be for my son. Does it become easier as you grow older to deal with? Quiet places must be better for everyone on the spectrum. Its hard to have a quiet place when everywhere I take my little one except home has so much going on, like shopping and even school must be hard sometimes.

That experiment, I can't find the link, BUT I am going to try and find it. In the maintime, the video that's above it (with the hyper lady) that is a really good explanation and is similar to the experiment. The only difference is that the boy with Autism tells his teacher to close his eyes and think about being surrounded by certain things and hearing lots of things, etc. (See pic. I have on the page from my slideshow - similar to what the teacher had to envision in the experiment with his eyes closed). Hope that helps for now!
