My son likes letters, but cant read. I was wondering if he can memorize these letters he studies? He does this thing with the letters kind of like tracing them. He has a unique way of tracing them he goes up and down on certain letters with his fingers, but he seems to remember the way he traces them. Do know if maybe this interest in letters will be his way of memorizing letters?Hope to here from you soon and God bless you Kris!

Hi Julie! Phone books and Autism :) Very fun... and common. He is probably fascinated with the shapes. He probably will memorize the letters that way. For me, I would memorize similar in Rainman because of my Savant along with the Autism. Tracing is really great, because that can be confusing and be a late ability in children with Autism, so that is a good sign! Buy him the letter boards so he can trace them in the space :) God Bless you too + Luv, Kris
