Welcome to Autism and it's World. This website was created by me to help describe and explain the world of autism to parents of autistic kids, educators, psychologists, etc. I have high functioning autism and savant. Being able to understand what your patient or loved one is feeling will make the bonding relationship better between all of you and the relationship much easier on both ends. Please ask me any questions...even personal questions you may have been afraid to ask to others before. I just want to help, it is my pleasure.

Here in this site you will find categories such as ADAPTIVE SENSORY, COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS, PERSONAL QUESTIONS, SERVICE DOGS, etc.

*VISUAL PERCEPTION*

As autistic as I am, the only way I could describe to someone what I sometimes see looking at a lighted billboard with words or pictures flashing ahead, I decided to create this picture in order to help my explanation. Of course, not everything looks like this....but sometimes billboards that created lighted images and words, along with the scene of people and activities in the world, our eyes will view things in a bit of a different way.

On a day to day basis, autism affects me, especially in busy places. Having a dog to help sensory and judgement when out and about can be both healthier for the person w/ autism and the environment/people around them. They facilitate communication/socialization :) instead of staring & apprehension. Autism dogs are referred to as Ssgi dogs. (Link as well)
